March Palermo’s Courtside Club Specials

The streets outside of 4th & State may be snow covered, but the first Palermo’s Courtside Club special for March will take your mind off the weather and put you in a warmer place. A half pound of delicious coconut shrimp paired with a side of homemade pineapple ginger coulis will start to your gamenight right. The pairing was was a hit last week when the Backcourt Office tried a sample and you can enjoy it with a side of french fries through March 16th for $12.

Coconut Shrimp

Coconut Shrimp Basket available on Tues, March 12th & Fri, March 15h.

The second half special for March is an update on an old Courtside Club favorite with the addition of Chipotle BBQ Chicken Nachos to the menu. Nachos are the perfect sporting event food and this new take on the old BBQ nachos will be well received. Starting with a base of El Ray tortilla chips, adding pulled chicken cooked in a chipotle BBQ sauce, topped with Monterey Jack cheese sauce, scallions, sour cream, diced tomatoes and homemade guacamole I will be sure to order one of these as I watch the Bucks take down the Lakers. The Chipotle BBQ Chicken Nachos are available in the Palermo’s Courtside Club from March 17th-30th for $10.

Chipotle BBQ Chicken Nachos

BBQ Nachos return for the second half of March.

Sunday afternoon basketball makes a return to Milwaukee this month and that gives BMO Harris Bradley Center Executive Chef David Zakrozymski the ability to transform the popular Chef’s Table with a brunch themed service. For both Sunday afternoon games (March 17th & 24th) brunch will be served with all the fixings. Chef prepared omelets, pan roasted salmon, Jake’s corned beef hash headline the robust offerings. See the full menu available HERE and at $25 per person, the Brunch Chef’s Table includes your choice of fresh brewed coffee, orange juice or a mimosa (my choice drink for brunch).

Brunch & Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary’s and Brunch will be served on Sunday’s in March.

You can’t have a brunch in Wisconsin without a proper Bloody Mary so in addition to the chef’s table we are also offering a Classic Kettle One Bloody Mary for your consumption. The mixologists at Levy Restaurants took a classic mix and added lime juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, celery salt, coarse black pepper, roasted garlic and horseradish resulting in a delightful concoction. Garnished with a lemon, lime, olives, cheese stick and beef stick this Bloody Mary will be available on March 17th and 24th for $9.

Enjoy & Go Bucks Go!

January Palermo’s Courtside Club Specials

As the calendar turns for the New Year, BMO Harris Bradley Center Executive Chef David Zakrocymski looks to keep things fresh in the Palermo’s Courtside Club by introducing a weekly featured item. He twisted my arm (ok…I volunteered) and sampled the new creations to give you a preview.

Chicken Parmesan Sandwich

Chicken Parmesan Sandwich

The first featured sandwich treats your taste buds to a lightly breaded chicken breast, topped with marinara sauce, provolone cheese and served on a griddled bun. You won’t need extra napkins for this sandwich, as the melted provolone cheese keeps the marinara next to the chicken and not all over your fingers. Enjoy this tasty addition to the Courtside Club menu with serving of fries on January 8th and 11th for $9.00.

Beef & Cheddar Sandwich

Beef & Cheddar Sandwich

The Courtside Club’s featured sandwich for January 22nd and 26th immediately invoked thoughts of Portillo’s, the Chicago institution, and their Beef-N-Cheddar Croissant. It’s one of my favorites. Chef Dave did a great job putting a twist on the classic sandwich topping the warm roast beef and cheese sauce with caramelized onions, you can never have enough of those. Served on a toasted onion roll, this is one sandwich that won’t fall apart on you, or require a fork and knife. For just $9.00 you can enjoy the Beef and Cheddar Sandwich with fries and yes, it is acceptable to dip your fries into the excess cheese sauce.

Chicken Salad Wrap

Chicken Salad Wrap

Wraps are a Courtside Club favorite so ending the month with a classic seems fitting. This version takes tender grilled chicken, toasted almonds, green apple salad and creamy dressing rolls it up in a traditional tortilla wrap and is cut in half (great for sharing). Celery in the dressing gives this wrap a crunch, and while there are onions there too, they don’t overpower. This special is available on January 30th and February 2nd for $9.00 and served with fries, but you can substitute a side salad for just $2.00 as you can on any item on the menu.

The New Year also rings in an update to the featured wines available in the Palermo’s Courtside Club.  Enjoy the following selections by the glass:

Featured White Wines

Korbel Brut, California

Le Rime by Banfi Pinot Grigio, Italy

Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand

Folie à Deux Chardonnay, Napa

Featured Red Wines

Rodney Strong ‘Russian River Valley’ Pinot Noir, Sonoma
